Semen Analysis

A laboratory test used to assess semen quality: semen volume, sperm quantity & concentration, sperm morphology (shape), and sperm motility (movement). We also usually look for evidence of inflammation.

 

Semen Analysis is for:

  • Determining low sperm count or sperm dysfunction in men

  • People who want to screen for hereditary disorders

  • Those who want pregnancy on-demand, including LGBTQIA+ couples

The process,
explained simply.

  • Semen is collected in a private area by self-stimulation. Please note, the collection will be conducted on-site as the semen will need to be examined one hour post-ejaculation to maintain quality. The testing will cover:

    - Volume and viscosity of semen

    - Sperm count, concentration, morphology, and motility

    - Volume of immature sperm

    - pH and acidic levels found in sperm

    - Testing for any disorders or abnormalities
